Barnstormers Announce 2015 Schedule

Lancaster Stormers News Release
The Lancaster Barnstormers will begin defense of their Atlantic League title on Friday, April 24, it was announced today by team and league officials.
For the second consecutive year, the Barnstormers will open their season at Sugar Land, Texas then head to York before raising the curtain at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The home portion of the 140-game schedule commences on Thursday, April 30 as the Barnstormers and York jump across the river for one game before Southern Maryland comes to Lancaster for a weekend series.
Fans on both sides of the Susquehanna can prepare for a prolonged battle. The War of the Roses series between Lancaster and York will be extended as the two clubs meet 28 times during the regular season, 14 in each stadium. To compensate, the Barnstormers will play Bridgeport on only 15 occasions and host Sugar Land only seven times during the season while still playing 10 games in Texas.
Lancaster will play eight homestands of seven games apiece with four other scattered series. There will be 1 home date at Clipper Magazine Stadium in April, 18 in May, 13 in June, 14 in July, 10 in August and 14 in September.
The Barnstormers will also play at home on Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Unlike in 2014, the 2015 Atlantic League All-Star Break will occur at the halfway point on the schedule, July 6-9. The season will come to a close on Sunday, September 20.
Attached you will find a complete listing of home and away dates. Please note that the away games on May 9th and July 23rd are both double-headers. Game times and a schedule of promotions will be released at a future date.
