Barnstormers Add Defensive Back

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed defensive back De'Von Graves to the 2024 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Graves (6-2, 205, North Carolina State) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, Graves spent two seasons at North Carolina State University appearing in 19 games with the Wolfpack.
"De'Von is an elite athlete who came in at North Carolina State and played immediately as a freshman," said Coach Mogensen. "Covid and the transfer portal messed up his timeline, but we expect De'Von to come in and add a physical dimension to Coach Yarboroughs defense from the start."
Upon signing with the Barnstormers, Graves said "I'm excited to get back out on the field and prove to everyone that you should never give up on your dreams even when it feels impossible to accomplish them."
Graves will join the Iowa Barnstormers 2024 Training Camp in the spring.
