
Bank of the Cascades, Stampede Partner for 'Make a Wish'

BOISE, Idaho, November 11, 2011 - Bank of the Cascades and the Idaho Stampede have joined together for the fifth consecutive year with the Make-A-Wish FoundationR of Idaho to help make a wish come true for a child battling a life-threatening medical condition.
The 'Swishes for Wishes' Campaign is an annual campaign sponsored by the Idaho Stampede and Bank of the Cascades. For every three-point field goal made during the 2011-12 season, Bank of the Cascades will donate $10 to the Make-A-Wish FoundationR of Idaho. During 2010-11, the Stampede players made 358 three-pointers and BOTC donated $5,000 for the program. Bank of the Cascades and the Idaho Stampede will present a check to the Make-A-Wish FoundationR in mid-March 2012.
This year, a young boy named Adam will get to travel to the Kennedy Space Center and get to meet an astronaut.
On March 18, 2011, the Stampede and Bank of the Cascades honored a local boy named Landon, who took part in the Idaho Stampede game that night. Money raised helped Landon meet his hero, actor Adam Sandler. In 2010, a boy named Nicolas went to Wald DisneyWorld resort in Orland, Fla. with his brother, Lucas, mother and aunt and in 2009 a girl named Sophia went to Disneyland.
