FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS, FREE CARDINALS TICKETS HIGHLIGHT ACTION-PACKED HOMESTAND!!! The 2008 season has been nothing short of spectacular so far, and the River Bandits have you to thank! From a 60 percent increase in attendance to the unconditional heartfelt support from our fans throughout this summer's flooding, the loyal citizens of the Quad Cities have stood by their hometown team all season long. As the River Bandits return home to Modern Woodmen Park for a seven-game homestand to open the month of July, a week-long blowout is the least we could do! We will be celebrating the holiday Bandit-style, with giveaways, promotions, discounts, and fireworks this week as the River Bandits show you, the fan, how much we appreciate your tremendous support. Plus, to celebrate our nation's birthday and salute the red, white and blue... cherry, vanilla and blueberry loaded sno-cones will be half-price all week long!

TUESDAY, JULY 1 - HALLOWEEN IN JULY and the QUAD CITY AREA OPTIMIST CLUBS' YOUTH APPRECIATION NIGHT!!! Every Tuesday at Modern Woodmen Park is a Two-for-Tuesday, meaning you can catch this fantastic night of baseball while getting two River Bandits tickets for the price of one! For those of you that enjoy the spookier side of life, you can also get into the spirit of things with Halloween in July. Modern Woodmen Park will be taken over by ghosts and goblins on Tuesday, giving you a taste of the Field of Screams haunted house a few months early! The busy evening will also be Youth Appreciation Night for the Quad City Area Optimist Clubs. What better to remind you that the glass is half full than a stadium full of smiling children?

WEDNESDAY, JULY 2 - WACKY WINS-DAY FEATURING CARDINALS MANIA!!! No beating around the bush here, folks: YOU CAN WIN FREE TICKETS TO SEE THE CARDINALS PLAY AT BUSCH STADIUM! You already know that every Wednesday is Guaranteed Prize Night at Modern Woodmen Park, but this Wednesday may very well feature the biggest prize of all. The St. Louis Cardinals - the River Bandits' parent club - are having a fantastic season as they battle with their rival Chicago Cubs for the divisional title in the National League Central. Moreover, the Redbirds' roster features a host of players that have passed through the Quad Cities over the last few years, from star outfielder Rick Ankiel (right) to rookie sensation Kyle McClellan.
Every Wednesday is also an IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union Night, enabling members of the credit union to pick up two free kids tickets when presenting their membership card at the ticket office!

FIREWORKS, FIREWORKS, AND MORE FIREWORKS ON JULY 3 AND JULY 4!!! Thirsty-day Thursday Presented by the Quad Cities CW and Rock 104.9 with Dave & Darren! If you like fireworks... this is the homestand for you! The River Bandits will open the gates at 6:00 p.m. for a Thirst-day Thursday on July 3, featuring half-price draft beer, wine, and fountain soda. Come early for a special 6:00pm gametime. The game will be followed by the spectacular Red, White, and BOOM fireworks show put on by the city of Davenport. The pyrotechnic display will be shot off from LeClair Park, just beyond the left field wall, and fans at Modern Woodmen Park will have the best seat in the house for the city-wide show!

SALUTE TO CHICAGO WEEKEND WITH HOF RYNE SANDBERG AND HALF-PRICE CHICAGO STYLE HOT DOGS! This weekend will be your last chance to see Cubs Hall-of-Famer Ryne Sandberg and his Peoria Chiefs in the Quad Cities this season! FRIDAY, JULY 4 - INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA PRESENTED BY KWQC-TV6! The show gets even better on Friday night, as the River Bandits celebrate Independence Day with a 6:00 p.m. game that will be followed the biggest, brightest, and most electrifying pyrotechnic extravaganza of the year!!! This fireworks show will be one to remember, so don't miss out on the opportunity to be there in person. Friday will also be Hometown Heroes Night, as the River Bandits pay tribute to local policemen, firefighters, veterans and other brave patriots that put their lives on the line to protect our freedom on a daily basis.

SATURDAY, JULY 5 - ROCKIN' SATURDAY Presented by COORS LIGHT AND WQAD NEWSCHANNEL 8!!! This installment of Modern Woodmen Park's Rockin' Saturday series will feature a live post-game performance from Wild Oatz, playing all of your country, classic rock, and blues favorites!

SUNDAY, JULY 6 - SUPERHERO NIGHT AND A U.S. BANK FAMILY SUNDAY AT A SPECIAL 5:00 P.M. START!!! Every Sunday is a family fun day at Modern Woodmen Park, featuring player autographs before and after the game, the opportunity for kids to run the bases, and in-game entertainment such as clowns and face-painters geared towards making sure the experience is amazing for fans of all ages! This Sunday will also be Superhero Night, so never fear... you can actually wear tights in public, and as long as you've got a cape to match you'll fit right in!!!
Also take advantage of the chance to play catch on the field after the game as the River Bandits make-up Father's Day followin a rainout a few weeks back!

MONDAY, JULY 7 - MARGARITA MONDAY, UNIFORM MONDAY, AND GET SMART MOVIE NIGHT!!! One of the biggest movies of the summer is Steve Carell's remake of the classic Get Smart! Join us at Modern Woodmen Park on Monday for a night playing into the Get Smart theme and you might even head home with free tickets to see Get Smart, or any other movie of your choice! Every inning, a pair of movie tickets will be given away!!!
Every Monday is also a Margarita Monday, featuring the drink for half-price at the Rio Bandito stand, and a Uniform Monday, allowing kids wearing their little league or softball jerseys into the ballpark for free when accompanied by an adult!
