
Aumont Named to All-Star Futures Game

Appleton, WI: The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are proud to announce right-handed pitcher Phillippe Aumont has been selected to the World Team for Major League Baseball's All-Star Futures Game.
Aumont, a native of Canada, has recorded 43 strikeouts in 44.2 innings pitched with a 2.62 ERA for the Timber Rattlers this season. He was also named to the 2008 Midwest League All-Star Team, but did not participate due to injury.
The 10th annual All-Star Futures Game will feature some of the best Major League prospects from the United States and from various countries around the world. The event will be held on Sunday, July 13th, at New York's Yankee Stadium as part of Major League Baseball's All-Star Week.
