Bandits Announce Plans for "The Summer Lacrosse Experience 2007"

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 28, 2007) --The Buffalo Bandits have announced plans for "The Summer Lacrosse Experience 2007." The "Experience" will take place over a four-day period and is designed to promote both on-field lacrosse instruction as well as insight and perspective on such off-field issues as nutrition, mental fortitude, and the importance of academics. The program is open to every level of player, from beginner to premier, ages 6 to 18 years old, and will be geared mainly toward the field lacrosse game, but box skills will also be taught.

The Bandits will be holding two separate sessions: July 9-12 at Orchard Park High School, and July 16-19 at ECC North Campus. Each session will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cost for the camp is $235. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required at time of registration. A PDF Registration Form can be downloaded at www.bandits.com. All registration information can be found on the Web site.

Registration includes a ticket to the Bandits 2008 home opener, a camp t-shirt and pinnie, a Bandits team photo, and the chance to win various prizes.

The camp boasts of some of the most elite players and coaches in the world, including Mark Steenhuis (Buffalo Bandits midfielder, two-time NLL All-Star Game MVP), Delby Powless (Rutgers University All-American, Buffalo Bandits forward), Gene Tundo, Jr. (ECAC Rookie of the Year at UMass, former Buffalo Bandit), Randy Mearns (Canisius College Head Coach), Darris Kilgour (Buffalo Bandits Head Coach, NLL Hall of Famer), and Gene Tundo, Sr. (Orchard Park H.S.
