
Bandits Acquire Montour from Arizona

BUFFALO, NY (February 22, 2006) - The Buffalo Bandits have acquired goaltender Ken Montour and a third-round selection in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft from the Arizona Sting in exchange for Buffalo's first-round selection in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft.
Buffalo also traded goaltender Ryan Avery to the Calgary Roughnecks in exchange for Calgary's first-round selection in the 2006 Entry Draft.
Montour, a native of Six Nations, Ontario, has yet to appear in a game this season. The 5-11, 200-pound goaltender appeared in two games for the Bandits in 2002, earning a 1-0 record and allowing 22 goals in 62 minutes of action. Montour, 26, has appeared in 41 career games over three seasons with Arizona, Buffalo, and Columbus.
Avery appeared in two games for the Bandits this season, allowing six goals on 24 shots in 30 minutes of action.
