ORLANDO, Fla. - Bally Sports has been named the new local television home of Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride, with Bally Sports Florida, Bally Sports Sun and the Bally Sports app set to broadcast 13 Orlando Pride matches as well as the Club's weekly show, Orlando Soccer Insider, which will air Friday nights.
The partnership will kick off this week, with Orlando Soccer Insider beginning at its new time, 6 p.m. ET, on Bally Sports Florida before the first Orlando Pride local broadcast of the season. After the show, fans will be able to catch the Pride take on the Chicago Red Stars at 7 p.m. ET, streaming this week on the Bally Sports app.
The 13 Pride matches will stream live on the Bally Sports app, and 10 are also scheduled to air live on Bally Sports Florida or Bally Sports Sun. Each Pride match and episode of Orlando Soccer Insider will re-air on Bally Sports.
"We're very excited to welcome Bally Sports as our newest local broadcast partner and can't wait for our fans to experience all we have to offer for this upcoming season. Bally Sports is the regional home to nearly every professional sports organization in the state of Florida for a reason, and we are proud to add to that list and expand our reach across the state alongside such a great partner," said Orlando City and Orlando Pride President of Business Operations, Jarrod Dillon. "We're proud to bring back Orlando Soccer Insider , our Club-produced show that gives our supporters the best possible access to all of our teams and news here at the Club. Additionally, we're proud to expand our Pride local broadcast schedule with over half of our regular season matches available to millions through Bally Sports' network of stations in Florida."
"We are thrilled to bring the excitement of Orlando City and Orlando Pride soccer to our Bally Sports viewers," said Steve Tello, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bally Sports Florida and Bally Sports Sun. "The growth of women's soccer and the NWSL make this an exciting time to add the Pride's games to our programming lineup on both of our networks and the Bally Sports app. We are ready to showcase these world-class athletes to our Florida audience."
Club senior producer and host Gabrielle Amado and MLS Season Pass talent Miguel Gallardo, a former Orlando City SC goalkeeper, return to present Orlando Soccer Insider, the one-stop shop for all things Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride. The 30-minute weekly show, filmed from the Club's media studios at the Orlando Health Training Grounds at Osceola Heritage Park and Sylvan Lake Park, brings fans inside the lines and behind-the-scenes for everything involving the beautiful game in The City Beautiful, including both City and Pride, OCB and the Orlando City Academy.
