
Bakersfield Jam Hires Interim General Manager

Bakersfield, CA, February 15, 2007: Stan Elllis, Co-Owner of the Bakersfield Jam, announced today the appointment of Fredric J. Cox as Acting General Manager for Bakersfield's NBA Development League team. "We are excited about adding Fred to our team. Fred is a local business professional who has a proven track record of improving operations and profitability for a variety of newly formed companies. He has the customer relationship skills, knowledge, problem solving skills, and contacts we need at this juncture," Mr. Ellis stated.
Mr. Cox is a seasoned executive with years of experience working as an interim manager for companies that are in need of professional management. He is the president of Corporate Renewal Resources, Inc.
Mr. Cox was born in Taft, Ca, attended Bakersfield College and graduated from California State University - Bakersfield and also holds a Masters of Business Administration.
Mr. Cox has been actively involved with the team in an advisory mode for the last four weeks. "Stepping in now as the Acting GM after serving as an advisor is very exciting. The Jam is an incredible product and a very important asset to our community.
