Bakersfield Acquires Terrel Harris and Dennis Horner in Three-Team Trade

BAKERSFIELD, February 20, 2014 - The Bakersfield Jam today announced that they have acquired guard Terrel Harris from the Texas Legends and Dennis Horner from the Springfield Armor in a three-team deal. Texas receives James Nunnally and Damion James from Bakersfield and Springfield receives Devin Ebanks from Texas.

Harris (6-5, 190, Oklahoma State) averaged 10.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 29.0 minutes in 31 games (30 starts) with the Legends this season. He has played for the Miami Heat and New Orleans Pelicans and in 42 career regular season games, he's averaged 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.8 minutes. Harris was a member of the 2012 NBA Championship Miami Heat team. The 26-year old played four years at Oklahoma State and in his senior year he posted averages of 13.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 31.7 minutes. In addition, he earned Big 12 All-Defensive Team honors his senior year.

Horner (6-9, 230, North Carolina State) appeared in 29 games (all starts) for Springfield this season and averaged 14.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in 31.4 minutes. In the 2011-12 season, the 26-year old appeared in eight games for the New Jersey Nets where he averaged 0.6 points and 0.6 rebounds in 2.8 minutes. Horner played four years at North Carolina State and in his senior year he averaged 11.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 27.9 minutes.

Bakersfield's next game is on Monday, February 24 against the Idaho Stampede. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. PST at the Dignity Health Event Center and the game can be seen LIVE on CBS Sports Network.
