SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - In a three-team deal completed on Thursday, the Springfield Armor, presented by MGM Springfield, announced the acquisition of Devin Ebanks from the Texas Legends in a trade that shipped forward Dennis Horner to Bakersfield.

The three-team trade will send Dennis Horner and Texas' Terrel Harris to Bakersfield, the Jam's James Nunnally and Damion James to Texas and the Legends' Devin Ebanks to Springfield.

Horner averaged 15.0 points over 29 games (all starts) with the Armor this season. The North Carolina State product has spent his entire NBA D-League career with Springfield, earning a pair of call-ups to the Nets during the 2011-12 season as well as an All D-League third team selection that year.

In exchange for Horner, the Armor received 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Devin Ebanks from the Texas Legends. The 6-9 forward out of West Virginia is averaging 24.1 points and 8.9 rebounds over 37.5 minutes on the floor this season. He was selected to this year's NBA D-League All-Star game in which he logged 27 points over 20 minutes to help the Prospects to a 145-142 victory over the Futures.

Ebanks has played 63 games (15 starts) over three seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and holds career averages of 3.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in the NBA. During the 2011-12 season, Ebanks averaged a career-best 4.0 points through 24 games (12 starts) with the Lakers. Last year, he played in 19 games, making three starts for L.A.

Ebanks will wear No. 2 for the remainder of the road trip.

After three games on the West Coast, the Armor will return home to face the Austin Toros for a two-game set beginning on February 27, presented by Comcast, inside the MassMutual Center before Brooklyn Nets Night, presented by Big Y, on February 28. Both games are set to tip at 7:00 p.m. For more information on the Armor, visit www.ArmorHoops.com or call (413) 746-3263. Keep up with the Armor on Facebook and Twitter !
