Bain to Train - Spirit Tap Matt Bain as Athletic Trainer

(Saginaw, MI) The Spirit are proud to announce Matt Bain as the newest addition to their hockey operations staff. The Littleton, Colorado native will serve as the team's Athletic Trainer.

Bain graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training. During his time while with Boston University Bain worked with the men's hockey team, men's basketball team, and women's rugby team. He also worked with a division III football team at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. Bain spent a year with the men's hockey team at Tufts University in Somerville, Massachusetts.

He most recently served as the athletic trainer at the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Bain worked with the men's soccer team, women's hockey and lacrosse teams.
