
Bagron Earns Honor

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder forward Bill Bagron has been named the Aquafina Rookie of the Week in the International Hockey League.
Bagron received the award for his performances in last week's games. He scored three goals and had one assist for four points and a plus-2 rating.
The 26-year-old Bagron scored the fourth hat trick in Bloomington franchise history Sunday in a 7-6 shootout loss at Muskegon.
The Eagle River, Alaska native has registered 21 points on 12 goals and nine assists in 31 games since joining the PrairieThunder after being traded from Muskegon in January. He also has a plus-nine rating.
For the season, Bagron has 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points and a plus-14 rating in 54 games.
The honor for Bagron marks the 13th time a PrairieThunder player has earned a weekly honor this season. Others earning awards have been center Jon Booras (four times), goalie Ryan Ludzik (three times), goalie Scott Fankhouser (twice); forward Henry Kuster (once), forward Jan Jas (once) and Parsons (once).
