
Back to School Drive & Kids First Event Approach

The Los Angeles Galaxy along with Southern California Edison are hosting a Back to School Drive to collect new and unused school supplies for underserved children this Saturday, August 30, 2003, prior to the Galaxy vs. Dallas Burn game at The Home Depot Center.
The Galaxy is asking for your support by donating any of the following items: pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, crayons, markers, backpacks, etc. or a monetary donation of $5.00. Supplies will be collected at each entrance of The Home Depot Center.
Those making a donation valued at $5.00 or more will receive a 2003 Galaxy team photo.
Kids First @ SoccerFest
Please join the Galaxy Foundation, Farmer John, and K-Earth at SoccerFest this Saturday, August 30th for the 2nd Annual Kids First event.
Parents will be able to receive Kindervision Safety Videos and Polaroid Kid Care kits of their child. Additionally, the Galaxy Foundation will be distributing information courtesy of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on back to school and sports safety as well as Make Sun Safety Your Goal kits.
