Bach earns CHL Goalie of the Month honors

Windsor, CO – The Central Hockey League announced today that Colorado Eagles goaltender Ryan Bach was awarded as the Vaughn Goaltender of the Month for the month of January. Bach was outstanding in the net as he has been all season.

The Edmonton, Alberta native was selected by Detroit Red Wings in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Bach won six times in January, finishing the month with a record of 6-2-1. He recorded two shutouts, one against the Oklahoma City Blazers on January 2 and against the Odessa Jackalopes on January 10 in a 1-0 victory. He led all CHL goaltenders with a 1.44 goals against average, and a .943 save percentage. Bach leads the league in wins (24), minutes (2284:48), and he shares the lead for shutouts with Rio Grande Valley's Jeff Levy. He is currently 24-11-3 on the season.

GAME CHANGE

The Colorado Eagles also announced today that they have changed dates for one of their road games. The Wednesday, February 24 game against the New Mexico scorpions has been changed to Friday, February 26. There is a building conflict at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque. The game is set for 7:05 p.m. on February 26 against the Scorpions.

The Eagles have started a waiting list for season tickets for next season. There is only a $50 per seat deposit required to hold seats.
