Béland-Goyette, Gagnon-Laparé and Joly Invited to Canada U20 Camp
December 10, 2014 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - Montreal Impact midfielders Louis Béland-Goyette and Jeremy Gagnon-Laparé, as well as forward Charles Joly, have been invited to the Canadian Men's U20 National Team camp in Sunrise Florida, from December 11 to December 17.
Béland-Goyette and Gagnon-Laparé have most recently taken part in three friendlies with Canada U20s last month, where the Reds fought back twice to salvage a 2-2 draw with England before registering a 2-1 win over Russia's U-21 team and a 1-0 win over USA.
Academy player Charles Joly and first team midfielder Béland-Goyette were invited for the first time with the U20s earlier this year when they were called into camp in May.
Gagnon-Laparé has seen time with the U18s, U20s and senior men's team since 2012.
The group is currently preparing for the CONCACAF U20 Championship, which will kick off in January 2015 and will lead in to the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand in 2015.
