December 10, 2014 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Toronto FC News Release

Toronto FC re-acquired midfielder Daniel Lovitz from New York City FC in exchange for allocation money on Wednesday. Lovitz was selected by New York City FC in the fourth round of the 2014 MLS Expansion Draft earlier on Wednesday. As per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Our goal was to come out of the expansion draft with our team intact. We did our homework and took measures to ensure that would happen prior to the draft. To that end, we accomplished what we set out to do, and now our full attention can set on improving the team for next season," said Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko.

Lovitz, 23, made a combined 21 appearances and registered three assists between MLS league matches and the Amway Canadian Championship this season.
