B-Sens Win Third Straight with Overtime Win Over Crunch, 4-3

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators tied a season-high three game win streak with a 4-3 overtime victory over the Crunch in Syracuse Friday night.

Defenseman Mark Borowiecki scored the game winner just 48 seconds into the overtime period. Mike McKenna stopped 32 of 35 shots to win his third straight game and improve to 8-9-0.

Stephane Da Costa, David Dziurzynski and Mike Hoffman scored regulation goals for the B-Sens.

John Mitchell scored a pair of goals in regulation for the Crunch. Maxime Macenauer would also score for Syracuse.

Binghamton was 1-for-7 on the power play. Syracuse was 0-for-5 with the man advantage.

The B-Sens host the Crunch in a rematch tomorrow at 6:05 p.m. in the traditional New Year's Eve game. Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain. Tickets are $18.50 for side seating, $17.50 for end seating.
