B-Sens to Sign Bertuzzi

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today they have agreed to a professional tryout agreement with forward Todd Bertuzzi. Bertuzzi is scheduled to report to Binghamton on Monday, January 12.

Bertuzzi, 39, is a veteran of 1,159 National Hockey League regular season games having tallied 770 points (314 goals, 456 assists) over his 18 year professional career. Originally drafted in the first round (23rd overall) in 1993 by the New York Islanders, the native of Sudbury, ON, Bertuzzi last played for the Detroit Red Wings during the 2013-14 season recording nine goals and seven assists in 59 games.

The B-Sens are back in action tonight when they visit the Worcester Sharks for a 7:30p.m. faceoff. Fans can listen live on US 96.9FM.
