BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators delighted their fans Monday night, earning a commanding 8-3 victory against the Northeast Division's Albany Devils in the traditional post-Christmas game.
Stephane Da Costa scored his first professional hat trick and Corey Cowick tallied a goal and a pair of assists. Mike Hoffman, Corey Locke and Mark Parrish also scored for the B-Sens. Goaltender Mike McKenna made his fifth straight start, stopping 36 of 39 shots to improve to 6-9-0.

Keith Kinkaid started in goal for the Devils, making 16 saves. Timo Pielmeier entered the game at 2:11 of the third period, ending the night with eight saves in relief.
Hoffman opened the scoring as he backhanded a shot home at 2:20 of the first period. Mark Borowiecki and Cowick earned their first of two assists in the game on the goal.
The Devils answered with a quick pair of goals early on in the second period. Gelinas and Sislo scored at 1:39 and 2:30 respectively.
Binghamton rallied just over three minutes later, scoring the first of four second period goals. Locke tied the game as his wrister from the right circle found the back of the Albany net at 5:51. Conboy then reclaimed the lead for the B-Sens with a power play tally at the eight minute mark. Da Costa scored his first of the night at 14:29 as he tipped home Borowiecki's shot from the point and Parrish buried a feed from Rob Klinkhammer at 15:13. The assist was Klinkhammer's second of the game, after he earned the secondary assist on Conboy's goal.

Just 57 seconds later, Cowick beat Pielmeier to make it 7-2. Mike Ratchuk drew the lone assist on Cowick's tally to earn his first point as a member of the Binghamton Senators.
Whitney narrowed the scoring gap with a tally at 7:17, but Da Costa put the exclamation point on the Binghamton victory completing his hat trick with a power play goal at 15:06.
