
B-Mets Game Postponed For Second Straight Day

Friday's Binghamton Mets game against the Akron Aeros has been postponed because of cold and snowy conditions at Canal Park in Akron, OH. A make-up date has yet to be determined.
The B-Mets are now scheduled to open their season with a doubleheader Saturday in Akron. Kevin Mulvey ('06: 0-1, 1.35) and Jose Sanchez ('06: 11-9, 3.87) will start for Binghamton against J.D. Martin ('06: 1-2, 2.03) and lefty Aaron Laffey ('06: 12-4, 3.16) of Akron. Game time is 2:05 p.m. with the radio broadcast starting at 1:50 on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
