No runs and just one combined hit were recorded through the first three innings.

Kingsport (25-13) scored first in the top of the fourth on an Ian Riley sacrifice fly. Riley's 27-game on-base streak came to end after Sunday night's game.

The Axmen went ahead by two runs on a Payton Allen RBI single in the top of the fifth. Allen has recorded a base hit in 11 of his last 24 at-bats.

After a scoreless sixth inning and top half of the seventh, Flyboys (19-21) first baseman Ian Daugherty hit a game-tying two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to make it a 2-2 game.

Axmen starting pitcher Ryan Murphy (2-1, 1.85 ERA) threw a complete game, allowing four hits, two (earned) runs, one walk and struck out eight batters.

Greeneville won on a walk-off fielder's choice in the tie-breaker to complete the series sweep over the Axmen.

Kingsport looks to get back on track on Tuesday night against Elizabethton at Hunter Wright Stadium.
