Avalanche Reassign Forward A.J. Greer to Rampage After NHL Debut

SAN ANTONIO- The Colorado Avalanche announced today that forward A.J. Greer has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). Additionally, the Rampage announced today that forward Joe Devin signed a professional tryout contract with the Silver and Black.

Greer, 19, leads all AHL rookies with five goals, nine assists and 14 points. The Rampage forward made his NHL debut with the Colorado Avalanche on Nov. 13 against the Boston Bruins, logging 16:34 of ice time, including two minutes of Colorado's 2:09 on the power play. Greer spent last season with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the QMJHL and registered 27 points in 33 games.

Devin joins the Silver and Black after starting the season with the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. He has recorded 46 goals and 47 assists in 162 ECHL games, while contributing six goals and three assists in 34 AHL games. Devin skated in 18 games with San Antonio in the 2011-12 season, collecting two points and 13 penalty minutes.

The Rampage return to San Antonio to start a seven-game stint in Texas that includes four home contests, beginning with the annual Cool School Day Game, presented by Wells Fargo, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 10:30 a.m. CT.
