Don't Stop Me Now: Charles Hudon's eight goals has him tied with Anthony Mantha for the most goals in the American Hockey League this season.
We Will Rock You: The IceCaps lead the Eastern Conference with a 27.4 percent success rate on the powerplay. St. John's netted two powerplay goals Saturday against the Devils and added another against the Thunderbirds on Friday.
Good Company: Defencemen Julien Brouillette made his season debut with the IceCaps on Saturday. Brouillette joins goaltender Eddie Pasquale as the only IceCaps players to skate with both versions of the franchise.
Friday, Nov. 11 SPR 3 vs STJ 1 RECAP Charlie Lindgren kicked out 30 shots but the St. John's IceCaps dropped a 3-1 decision to the Springfield Thunderbirds Friday night at the MassMutual Centre in Springfield, Mass. Stefan Matteau tallied his fifth goal of the season in the loss. Saturday, Nov. 12 ALB 4 vs STJ 3 RECAP The St. John's IceCaps fell 4-3 to the Albany Devils in a close battle on Saturday night at the Times Union Centre in Albany, NY. The IceCaps scored two powerplay goals in the second period to jump out to a 3-1 lead; however it was not enough as the Devils scored three unanswered goals to secure the victory.
