Austin Toros Host San Antonio Spurs Affiliate Night

Austin, TX Feb. 9, 2011 - The Austin Toros will host Spurs Affiliate Night on Saturday, February 12 at noon at Cedar Park Center. Fans can watch Spurs' assigned rookie James Anderson as the Toros take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Anderson is on his second assignment to the Toros this season while rehabbing from a stress fracture in his foot. The Spurs mascot "Coyote" and the Silver Dancers will also be in attendance to meet and greet fans and cheer for the Toros.

"The Toros are proud to be the NBA D-League affiliate of the San Antonio Spurs and a member of the Spurs Sports and Entertainment family," said Peter Lubell, Toros Chief Operating Officer. "We are especially excited to have James Anderson playing with us on the night we celebrate our affiliation."

The first 200 fans that arrive at Cedar Park Center will receive a free San Antonio Spurs t-shirt. Fans can also register to win other Spurs giveaways throughout the game including tickets to a Spurs game at the AT&T Center and Spurs apparel.
