RENO'S STEVE NOVAK SIGNS WITH SAN ANTONIO
The San Antonio Spurs signed forward Steve Novak of the Reno Bighorns for the eighth GATORADE Call-Up of the 2010-11 NBA Development League season. Novak's call-up increases the number of current NBA players with NBA D-League experience, including players currently on assignment to their NBA D-League affiliates, to 87. Novak played in two games with Reno, averaging 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 29.5 minutes. Novak also appeared in nine games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in 2007-08 while on assignment from the Houston Rockets, averaging 18.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Novak (6-10, 240) appeared in seven games this season with the Dallas Mavericks, and has played in 202 career NBA games with the Mavericks, Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers. With the Clippers in 2008-09, Novak logged career-high averages of 6.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 71 games.

David Bailey had 14 points and 12 assists), Dexter Pittman scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Patrick Ewing, Jr. recorded 14 points and 11 rebounds. All finished with double-doubles for the Skyforce. Raymond Sykes scored a team-high 18 points to continue his strong play off the bench.
Portland Trail Blazers assignee' Armon Johnson scored a team-high 22 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Sean banks had 21 points and Lance Hurdle scored 19 in the Idaho victory. Dakota was lead by Mike Anderson who posted a double-double with 29 points and 12 rebounds.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
20 players with NBA D-League experience competed in seven NBA games last night, six as starters.
Philadelphia's Lou Williams had 20 points, three assists and three rebounds in a win over Atlanta.
Detroit's Will Bynum had 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting in a loss to San Antonio.
Minnesota's Jonny Flynn had 15 points and seven assists in a win over the Rockets.
