Austin Spurs to Host Sixth-Annual Go Red Night

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, today announced that they will host their sixth-annual Go Red Night in partnership with Texas Mutual to raise awareness for heart health on Sunday, Feb. 9 at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park when the Spurs take on the Santa Cruz Warriors at 4 p.m.

The team will wear special-themed jerseys that will be signed and auctioned off with net proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association. Fans will be able to cast their bids from now until 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 9. Fans can text "Spurs" to 52182 to register for the auction.

Throughout the game, heart healthy tips will be shown on the videoboard to educate fans on ways to maintain heart health. All fans attending are encouraged to wear red.

Fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to the game by posting photos of themselves on social media wearing red for National Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb. 7 and using hashtags #ATXSpurs15 and #GoRedATX.
