
BayHawks Acquire Stevie Thompson Jr. from Available Player Pool

ERIE, PAÃÂ - The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, announced today that they have acquired guard Stevie Thompson Jr. from the Available Player Pool.
Thompson Jr. (6-4, 190) appeared in 121 games (94 starts) during his four-year career at Oregon State (2015-19), averaging 14.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 steals in 32.6 minutes. The Torrance, Calif. native finished his career fourth all-time in scoring for the Beavers, while earning Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year and an All-Pac-12 Second Team nod during his senior season.
Erie is lined up for a divisional matchup with the Lakeland Magic tomorrow at Erie Insurance Arena. Tip is set for 11 a.m. for the team's annual School Kids Jam game, presented by UPMC Health Plan.
The Erie BayHawks, presented by LECOM, are the NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans. The NBA G League, founded in 2001, is the NBA's official minor league whose teams have direct affiliations to NBA franchises.
