
Austin Spurs Complete Trade with Westchester Knicks

AUSTIN, TX (February 17, 2015) - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, today announced they have completed a trade with the Westchester Knicks acquiring the returning player rights of Richard Howell in exchange for forward Trey Gilder.
Howell currently plays in the Philippine Basketball Association with the Talk "ËN Text Tropang Texters. In five games, he is averaging 15.8 points and 15.4 rebounds in 37 minutes of play.
He averaged 18.0 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 20 games for the Idaho Stampede during the 2013-14 season. Howell was named All-ACC First Team his senior year (12-13) at North Carolina State where he averaged 12.7 points and 10.9 rebounds in 31.6 minutes per game.
