Lynx Notes

Sylvia Fowles finished with a team-high 20 points, shooting 9-of-10 from the field, and 11 rebounds for her 175th double-double of her career. This also marks the sixth time this season she has recorded 20+ points.

Napheesa Collier registered her 15th double-double with 18 points, 10 rebound, four assists and a career-high five blocks. Collier becomes the eighth player in WNBA history to record such stat line.

With both Collier and Fowles tallying a double-double, this marks the third time this season that those two have accomplished that feat in the same game. Additionally, it accounts for the 48th time in franchise history that two players have registered double-doubles in the same game.

Kayla McBride tallied 16 points, four rebounds and four assists. This marks her ninth 15+ point performance of the season.

In her first Lynx game since June 12th, Natalie Achonwa finished with a season-high-tying eight points. She shot a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line.

Layshia Clarendon finished with six points and a game-high eight assists. This marks his fourth consecutive game with at least eight assists.

Team Notes

Going into the fourth quarter, the Lynx trailed by one point before outscoring New York 24-13 in the final frame for the victory. Minnesota now holds a 6-6 record this season when tied or behind entering the fourth quarter.

Minnesota extended their current winning streak to eight games.

Led by Clarendon's eight assists, the Lynx dished out 24 assists, accounting for their 14th game this season with at least 20 assists.

Liberty Notes

Natasha Howard registered a season-high 30 points, shooting 13-of-22 from the field.
