Ottawa 67's News Release
Tonight at the bank Sean Monahan found the net twice and had an assist but the Saginaw Spirit overpowered us 8-3. The best thing about the game was the fun in the stands where our own spirit was very high.
This Mini Team with dreams made it to the big leagues when they played on the NHL ice at Scotiabank tonight. Great job Novice B1 Kanata Vipers!
It was BMO Ultimate Fan night here at the bank and 3 of our best cheerers made it to a final trivia showdown to earn a chance to win a VIP trip to the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Saskatoon. Rick Campagna from BMO was a co-MC for the showdown which was won by Julie Larabie. She takes home a BMO 67's Jersey and a $50 pre-paid BMO Mastercard as well as her shot at the big prize. Runners-up were Mikayla and Kent...thanks for playing everyone.
The 67's next game is this Remembrance Day Sunday afternoon at 2:00 against the Belleville Bulls.
And oh, almost forgot, kudos to our boys representing the OHL in Subway's Super Series: Sean Monahan, Tyler Graovac (goal) and Cody Ceci (assist). Grao will play again Monday in Sarnia when the OHL goes against the Russians again.
