Auburn Doubledays News Release

Tonight's Game: It's game two of an away-home-away three-game series between the Batavia Muckdogs (Marlins) and Auburn Doubledays (Nationals). Jefry Rodriguez toes the rubber for his fourth start for Auburn and second against the Muckdogs. Jordan Holloway takes the ball for Batavia. It will be his fourth start for the Muckdogs after two with Miami's Single-A Affiliate in Greensboro.

Last Night's Game: Auburn's offense was silenced in a 4-1 loss at Batavia. The Doubledays didn't record a hit between the final out of the first and first out of the seventh. Auburn left a runner in scoring position in the seventh, eighth, and ninth inning during its third loss in a row and first to Batavia this year.

The Hit-Man: Andrew Stevenson is currently on a team-high 6-game hit streak right now. Over that streak, Stevenson is 11-25 and hitting .444. Looking back at his season as a whole, Stevenson has led off in each of the 11 games he's played in this season. The center fielder has record in his first at bat of the game seven times this season.

Relieving Relief: Over the last five games, the Doubledays' bullpen has been very good. The relievers have thrown 26.1 innings and have given up 9 R/8 ER, which is good for a 2.73 ERA. In those five games, Auburn's starters have thrown 15.1 innings and have given up 19 R/14 ER, which is a 9.86 ERA.
