Attack to Honor Carroll for 265th Game

The Owen Sound Attack have announced that they will be honoring overage forward Marcus Carroll prior to Wednesday night's home game vs. Barrie for playing in his 265th career Ontario Hockey League game as a member of the Owen Sound Attack. Marcus will break the record of former Owen Sound Platers stalwart Willie Skilliter.

The Ajax, ON native has amassed 76 goals, 66 Assists and 202 Penalty Minutes in his 264 games played. In 2005/2006, Marcus won the Pat McReavy Award given out to the Owen Sound Attack's Unsung Hero during the regular season. Marcus has also taken home the Dave McComb Memorial Award for Leadership and Perseverance in 2006/2007 as well as the Howard Hindman Award for the Largest Contribution to the Community in 2007/2008 and 2008/2009.

Marcus' parents Bill and Sherri as well as his billets Rob and Linda Hawkins of Owen Sound as well as several members of the Attack ownership group will be on hand for the presentation.
