The Owen Sound Attack has named overage forward Marcus Carroll the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Monday, November 02, 2009.

The Attack began another three games in three night streak on Thursday evening when they paid a visit to the WFCU Centre and the defending Memorial Cup Champion Windsor Spitfires. The Attack grabbed the lead in the first period and would never relinquish it, winning 5-4 in a shoot-out. Marcus Carroll scored his 10th of the season and assisted on another while finishing the game with an even rating.

The next stop for the Attack was in Plymouth to sink the Whalers. The Attack got off to another great start thanks to Carroll's 11th of the year, putting the Attack out 1-0. Carroll picked up another three assists on route to a 6-2 Attack victory over the Whalers.

Carroll and his Attack mates returned home on Saturday evening to take on the nation's 10th ranked team, the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors. Carroll was in on all four Attack goals, scoring one while assisting on three others in a 4-1 Attack victory.

Carroll will be honored prior to Wednesday evening's game vs. Barrie for playing in what will be his 265th career game as a member of the Owen Sound Attack, breaking Willie Skilliter's all time franchise record of 264.
