Owen Sound Attack General Manager Dale DeGray and the Attack Organization is pleased to announce that with the 10th overall pick in the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, they have selected forward Aidan Dudas from the North Central Predators Minor Midget AAA team.

"Aidan is a very skilled and very responsible player.", stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. "He competes at an extremely high level night in and night out and is of tremendous character.", stated Dale DeGray. "We recognized that we needed to address skill and scoring ability up front in our lineup and the addition of Aidan certainly helps that. He has a quick shot and skates extremely well."

Dudas, a 5'7, 150lb centre tallied 25 goals and 26 assists to go along with 47 penalty minutes in 31 games played. The Parry Sound, ON native also suited up for Team Canada in the Youth Olympic games where he notched a goal and 2 assists, winning a Silver Medal.

Dudas is described by OHL Central Scouting as a very good skater with a low centre of gravity, making it hard to knock him off pucks. He has elite skill and a good snap shot with a quick release.

"Aidan will fit in nicely with our core group of players and with the style of hockey we play in Owen Sound. We are very excited to have him.", added DeGray.

The Attack wish to welcome Aidan and his entire family into the Attack organization. Aidan and his family will be in Owen Sound today, expected to arrive at approximately 2:00pm.
