Attack Ready For Final Weekend of Regular Season

The Owen Sound Attack has two games left in the regular season. The first will be Friday night (March 16) in Kitchener at 7:30pm against the Rangers. The game will be broadcast live on 560 CFOS, Rogers Cable Channel 53, and on the internet at www.attackhockey.com. The final game of the regular season is at the Bayshore Saturday night (March 17) at 7:30pm against the Guelph Storm. The Owen Sound Attack enters the final weekend of the regular season in 8th in the Western Conference with 69 points and a record of 31 wins, 28 losses, 3 overtime losses, and 4 shootout losses. They are one of the hottest teams in the league with a record of 7 wins, 2 losses, and 1 shootout loss in their last 10 games. The Attack's specialty teams continue to hover around mid pack with the 8th ranked power play at 21% and the 11th ranked penalty kill at 80.2%.

Bobby Ryan is the OHL Player of the week and leads the charge.

The Guelph Storm enters the final weekend of the regular season 6th in the Western Conference with 76 points and a record of 32 wins, 21 losses, 3 overtime losses, and 9 shootout losses. They have a record of 5 wins, 4 losses, and 1 shootout loss in their last 10 games. They feature one of the top penalty kills in the league in 3rd at 84% but one of the worst power plays in the league at 15th at 17.5%.

Thomas McCollum has proven to be one of the best goaltenders in the OHL.

Drew Doughty has really come on as a scoring threat from the blueline.
