Owen Sound Attack News Release
Last night, Tuesday April 10, Trevor Lewis and the Manchester Monarchs downed Bobby Ryan and the Portland Pirates 3-1. Lewis scored his second AHL goal in the game. The Moncarchs have already sewn up their 2nd Atlantic Division title in the past 3 years. The loss by Ryan and the Pirates eliminated them from making the playoffs.
Bobby Sanguinetti and the Hartford Wolf Pack are just 1 point from clinching second in the Atlantic Division and home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Sanguinetti has played 4 games so far with 2 assists. The Wolf Pack hosts Bridgeport for their final regular season home game this Friday and then travels to Portland to take on Bobby Ryan and the Pirates on Sunday afternoon.
Phil Oreskovic and the Toronto Marlies will not make it to the post season. Oreskovic has played 1 game and has not registered a point as yet.
