
Rangers Jump Back Into Series With 4-2 Win

Kitchener, ON: Kevin Henderson scored twice leading the Rangers to a convincing 4-2 win over the Plymouth Whalers in game 4 of their Western Conference Semi-Finals series.
Matthew Martello scored his second goal of the playoffs to open the scoring in the first period at 19:09 while on the power play.
In the second period Kevin Henderson gave the Rangers a 2-0 lead scoring his third of the playoffs at 2:30 while short handed. Steve Downie extended the Rangers lead to 3-0 burying his eighth goal at 7:15. Dan Collins made it 3-1 beating John Murray at 9:05.
Kevin Henderson scored his second of the game to restore the Rangers two goal advantage at 8:02 of the third period. Chris Terry scored at 16:16 to bring the Whalers to within two with just under four minutes to play.
John Murray turned in a solid performance turning aside 29 of the 31 shots from the Whalers.
The Rangers were 3 for 12 on the power play.
Game 5 of the series is scheduled for Friday, April 13th in Plymouth. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will be carried live on Rogers T.V.
