Attack Face a Tough Week 4 of the OHL Season with Division Rivals
October 11, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack are set to face two teams in week 4 of the Ontario Hockey League season, both ranked in the CHL top 10 this past week. The Bears are looking to continue out their success of winning 2 of their 3 contests last week.
Owen Sound is heading on the road on Friday night to face the Guelph Storm for the 7:30pm puck drop at the Sleeman Centre.
This will be the second match up against Guelph of the season thus far, as the Attack fell 6-2 to the Storm on September 28th, also at the Sleeman Centre.
Guelph has played 6 games in the regular season thus far with a record of 4-1-1-0 and currently sits second in the Midwest Division with a total of 9 points.
Nate Schnarr, right wing, and Isaac Ratcliffe, leftwing, sit 6th and 10th, respectively, in the OHL for total points in the 2018-19 season. Schnarr, playing in all 6 contests, has scored 5 goals with 7 assists and Ratcliffe also playing in all 6 games, has totalled 6 goals and 4 assists.
In their last match up with Owen Sound, Ratcliffe scored two goals and one assist for Guelph, with Schnarr assisting one of those goals.
Friday night's game will be available for fans live on Rogers Local 53 as well as on 560 CFOS Kia of Owen Sound/Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio.
Following Friday night's match up, the Attack will head back home on Saturday to face the London Knights for the second time this season as well, but this time at the Bayshore for a 7:30pm puck drop. Last Friday, Owen Sound was on the road down to Budweiser Gardens and ultimately fell 4-1 to the Knights. The Bears are looking for a rematch against the longtime rivals on Saturday night.
The Knights currently sit 3rd in the Midwest Division, between the Guelph Storm and the Attack, who sits 4th. London has played 5 regular season games thus far, totalling 6 points. The Knights are set to face Sarnia on Friday night, ahead of their match up against Owen Sound.
Connor McMichael and Nathan Dunkley are the point leaders for the Knights currently, sitting at 6 points each. Both forwards scored a goal in last week's match up with Owen Sound.
Fans can purchase tickets for Saturday night's game at the MacVicar & McComb ReMax Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com, or by calling 519-371-7452.
