Owen Sound Attack News Release

Owen Sound Attack General Manager Dale DeGray has announced today that the hockey club has traded veteran forward Myles Doan to the Niagara Ice Dogs. In return, the Attack receives a 4th round draft choice in 2011 and a conditional 4th round draft choice in 2012. The conditional draft choice will turn into a 3rd round selection if the conditions are met.

Doan, a native of LaSalle, ON. suited up in 127 regular season games over the past two seasons with the Attack in which he notched 13 goals and 15 assists to go along with 102 Penalty Minutes.

The 5'10 forward was originally drafted in the second round of the 2008 OHL Priority Selection; however the return of many core players to this seasons Attack roster and the need to make room for young, promising prospects made Doan an attractive player for the Ice Dogs.

The Attack wishes Myles the best of luck with his hockey career and academics in Niagara.
