Attack Comes Back For 6th Win In A Row On Home Ice

The Windsor Spitfires had a 4-1 lead after one period of play, but it was all Owen Sound from there as the Attack scored 8 consecutive goals on the way to a 9-4 win. It is their sixth consecutive win on home ice.

Thirteen different members of the Owen Sound Attack found the score sheet led by Bobby Ryan with 4 assists to give him 95 points and 8th place in OHL Scoring. Derek Brochu had 2 goals and 1 assist and was named First Star, while Marcus Carroll had 1 goal and 1 assist for Second Star honors.

Neil Conway replaced Anthony Guadagnolo to start the second period and stopped all 19 shots that he faced for his 13th win of the season.

The Owen Sound Attack improves to 68 points with a record of 31 wins, 28 losses, 3 overtime losses, and 3 shootout losses. They remain 8th in the Western Conference and just 5 points behind the Sarnia Sting.
