Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack have acquired forward Jackson Stewart, a 2024 3rd round OHL Priority Selection pick and the rights to defensemen Izayah Luddington, in exchange for defensemen Cal Uens and a 2026 10th round pick.

Stewart is a former fourth round selection by Kingston in the 2020 OHL Draft, and will add depth to a an already deep Attack forward group. The Norwood, ON native has had limited offensive success to this point in the OHL, but will add a more rugged style of play to the Attack's bottom 6 forward group.

Luddington was a 13th round selection by the Fronts in 2021 and had been playing with the Thorold Blackhawks in the GOJHL before a recent transaction sent his to the London Nationals. In 32 games played this season Luddington has displayed an offensive side, registering 25 points from the blue line.

The Attack wish Uens all the best as the former 2021 3rd round pick by the Bears will be playing closer to home being a native of Napanee, ON.
