Catenacci was also a member of Team Canada's Under 18 team this past spring in Germany.

"We're are extremely excited to acquire a player like Daniel.", stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. "He is a front line player that is a scoring threat every time he is on the ice. This was a deal that we could not pass up."

Going to Sault Ste. Marie is Andrew Fritsch, who was acquired in a deal with the Niagara Ice Dogs just prior to last season. In 58 games last season, the Brantford native notched 27 goals and tallied 62 points in 57 games. The 18 year old appeared in only 7 of the Attack's playoff games, notching 2 assists.

"We would like to wish Andrew nothing but the best.", said DeGray. "Andrew was an important piece of our championship team and his accomplishments as a member of the Owen Sound Attack will always be appreciated."

Catenacci will be in training camp next Wednesday, August 31st when the Attack veterans report.
