ATLANTA - Atlanta United today announced it has loaned midfielder Santiago Sosa to Racing Club in the Argentine Primera Division for the 2024 season.
The 24-year-old joined Atlanta United ahead of the 2021 season as a U-22 initiative signing. He has played in 64 MLS matches in his career, including 52 starts. Sosa has recorded one goal and one assist in his three seasons since joining Atlanta.
Prior to his move to MLS, Sosa had played his entire professional career with River Plate in Argentina. He joined the club's Academy in 2008 before making his first team debut during the 2018-19 season in Copa Libertadores action.
