
Associate Coach Jody Hull Signs Extension

Niagara, ON - The Niagara IceDogs have announced that Associate Coach Jody Hull has signed a 2-year contract extension, through the 2020-21 season. Hull joined the IceDogs to start the 2018-19 season.
"We are very excited to announce that Associate Coach Jody Hull has agreed to a 2-year contract extension with the team". said Head Coach Billy Burke. "Jody brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and was a tremendous asset last season to our hockey operations and the development of our players. I look forward to continuing to work with Jody as we enter a new era of Niagara IceDogs hockey."
Hull, a native of Petrolia, Ont., had an extensive professional playing career, with 831 games over 16 years in the NHL. Behind the bench, he spent 12 seasons with Peterborough Petes including the last six as Head Coach. In addition to his time with Peterborough, Hull also has accumulated an impressive international resume, serving as Assistant Coach for Canada at the 2018 U18 World Championships in Russia. He will be behind the bench at the 2019 World U17 Hockey Challenge for one of the three competing Canadian teams in Medicine Hat and Swift Current this fall.
