Assistant Coach Kyle Hagel to Pursue New Hockey Opportunity

KENT - Seattle Thunderbirds General Manager Bil La Forge today announced assistant coach Kyle Hagel has accepted a coaching position with a soon-to-be-announced team.
"We want to thank Kyle for everything he has done for us over the past five years," said La Forge. "We will always consider Kyle, his wife Jess, and their kids Liv and Macx as part of our family. We'll be cheering Kyle on from the PNW. Our search for an Assistant Coach begins immediately."
"We want to congratulate Kyle; it is always exciting when we move people and players on to the next level" said Team President Colin Campbell.
"Kyle has been an integral part of our success the past five years" said Head Coach Matt O'Dette "It's no surprise that he's received this opportunity in the American Hockey League. He's been an exemplary T-Bird and it's been an honor coaching with him. We wish him nothing but the best moving forward."
Hagel joined the T-Birds as an assistant coach on July 20, 2017
