Sergeev joined Eric Aarnio, Peter Mannino, Aaron Rock, and Filip Larsson as Storm goaltenders to allow a total of one goal in back-to-back games during the same weekend. 2018 USHL Goaltender of the Year Filip Larsson most recently accomplished the feat during the 2017-2018 regular season following a two-game series against the Waterloo Black Hawks at the Viaero Center on November 10th & November 11th, 2017. Larsson allowed one goal in a 1-0 loss to the Black Hawks on the 10th before shutting out the Black Hawks the following night in a 1-0 win for Tri-City. Rock accomplished the feat during the 2005-2006 season in a weekend series against the Sioux City Musketeers and the Omaha Lancers. He allowed one goal in the Storm's 5-1 win over the Musketeers at the Viaero Center on October 21st, 2005, and posted a shutout over the Omaha Lancers at the Omaha Civic Auditorium the following night in the Storm's 4-0 win over the Lancers. Mannino accomplished the feat following wins over the St. Louis Heartland Eagles and Danville Wings during the Storm's 2003-2004 Anderson Cup Championship season on February 13th and February 14th, 2004. Mannino posted a shutout in Tri-City's 3-0 victory over the Heartland Eagles at the Summit Centre on the 13th before making 16 saves on 17 shots in the Storm's 5-1 win over the Danville Wings the following night at the David S. Palmer Arena. Aarnio was the first Storm goaltender to accomplish the feat during Tri-City's 2002-2003 regular season campaign in wins over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Des Moines Buccaneers on February 7th and 8th, 2003. Aarnio made 21 saves on 22 shots in a 3-1 home win over Cedar Rapids on the 7th and recorded a 30 save shutout in Tri-City's 6-0 win the following night over Des Moines. Sergeev is the first goaltender in team history to accomplish the feat where both games were played on the road against the same opponent.

Sergeev was selected 4th overall by the Storm in the 1st round of the 2021 USHL Phase II Draft. He spent the 2020-2021 regular season with the Shreveport Mudbugs (NAHL). Sergeev also appeared in four games last season for the New Jersey Rockets (NCDC). Prior to joining the Storm organization, Sergeev made his USHL debut on November 15th, 2019, for the Sioux Falls Stampede in a 5-2 road loss to the Sioux City Musketeers. He recorded his first career USHL win in net on September 23rd, 2021, in Tri-City's 3-2 overtime victory over the Dubuque Fighting Saints at the 2021 USHL Fall Classic. Sergeev was selected 205th overall in the 7th round of the 2021 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames.

"I feel good about our performance as a team this past weekend. The first game was pretty tight, but the team played great defensively in front of me. In the second game, we scored a few goals and that made it easier for me. I just focus on doing my job and stopping pucks." - Goaltender Arsenii Sergeev

"I think it is a deserving award for Arsenii, the success of our weekend started with him Saturday night. I thought he was excellent in both games, which I think was the result of the hard work he puts in day in and day out in practice."- President of Hockey Operations/Head Coach Anthony Noreen
