Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release

After a early advantage put the Birmingham Barons out front, the Blue Wahoos rallied in the eighth inning with five runs to win 5-4. The Barons battered Daniel Renken with two early tallies and eight hits before the Wahoos' bats came alive in the clutch. Pensacola sent ten batters to the dish and used three walks to their advantage. Ryan LaMarre's triple started a comeback of epic proportions as the Wahoos won their seventh game in their last eight tries. Trevor Bell closed the door with his franchise-best seventeenth save. Here are the highlights as we go Around the Horn:

FOR THE TROOPS: The Blue Wahoos honored America with special uniforms tonight, donning blue camouflage jerseys that were later auctioned.
