TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts have traded National WR Brian Jones to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in exchange for a seventh-round draft selection in the 2019 CFL Draft.
Jones, 24, is in his third CFL season with Toronto after being drafted by the team fourth overall in the 2016 CFL Draft out of Acadia. In 24 games in Double Blue, Jones caught 24 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown. The Nova Scotia native also chipped in on special teams recording nine tackles and one blocked punt in his career.
