Toronto Argonauts News Release
Toronto - The Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts have teamed up with Dominion grocery stores to bring an exciting, affordable game experience to football fans. The Argonauts are pleased to announce that all 52 Dominion store locations in the Greater Toronto Area will offer the new "Argo Fan Pack" exclusively to Dominion customers.
The "Argo Fan Pack", available in-stores on June 10 and throughout the Argos 2005 Season, will include two collector edition Toronto Argonauts T-shirts and two ticket vouchers, valid for any of the Argonauts regular season home games in 2005. A great Father's Day gift, the "Argo Fan Pack", valued at $100, is available for the low price of just $19.99 plus applicable taxes. The vouchers are valid for tickets in the Dominion Fan Zone located in level 100 of the newly-renovated Rogers Centre. The "Argo Fan Pack" will have its own exclusive display within Dominion stores where customers can purchase the pack as well as pick up a 2005 Toronto Argonauts pocket schedule.
"This is a great opportunity for us to provide Dominion customers and their families with exclusive access to the Toronto Argonauts Fan Pack at a fantastic value," said Doug Brummer, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Advertising, A&P Canada. "We are thrilled to partner with the 2004 Grey Cup champions this upcoming season and are certain this fresh new offer will be a hit with our customers."
Keith Pelley, President and CEO of the Toronto Argonauts, is thrilled by the partnership with Dominion. "Dominion is a first class operation that we are proud to have as our partner. This offer brings great value to their customers and gives us the opportunity to bring some new fans to our games. We know the Dominion Fan Zone will be one of the most dynamic areas in the Rogers Centre on our game days and look forward to a long-term relationship with Dominion."
On game days, fans within the Dominion Fan Zone will have the chance to participate in the Master Choice Is the Price Right contest. By guessing the correct price of a Master Choice product (Dominion's private label line), fans could win a $20.00 gift card to be used at any Dominion store.
